Purpose and objectives

The Children’s Foundation, created in 1977 by Anne-Aymone Giscard d’Estaing, is a private non profit organisation, recognised as a public good by the law passed on the 2nd of December 1977 and agreed as an institution for the interests of human beings on the 22nd of April 1987.

It’s mission is to spark debates about, promote, advise, and help the projects for the benefit of childen in danger and families in difficulty and to contribute to the implementation of the international children’s rights agreement.  

Genuine platform of exchanges, experiments and research within the domain of child protection, the Children’s Foundation is attentive to the evolution of society and searches to surround itself with national and international experts to respond to the needs of children and their families. It’s scientific committee, which is made up of world renowned celebrities in the areas of medicine, law, psychology and social work, vouches for the ethics of businesses projects.
