How to help the Foundation

Support and the Foundation prizes
The Scientific Prize

Every year the Children's Foundation distinguish between the research studies by giving out the annual scientific prize worth a total of 50,000 francs.

Types of work selected :

University and professional research work supported or carried out between the 1st of July of the previous year and the 30th of June of the current year, relative to the study are the medical, social, environmental factors contributing to improve or to hinder the conditions necessary for the development of a child within the family including the protection of mistreated children or ones in danger.

Entered in the categories for research are as follows :

  • Thesis for the 3rd cycle
  • University graduate
  • Memoirese
  • Research-action
  • Study
  • The resaerch work should be carried out in french.

    The final report should include :

  • 3 copies of the work
  • A CV for the individual candidates or an ID sheet for the research groups
  • The introduction and presentation of the work should be no longer than one typed page.

  • Calendar

  • 1st trimester : appeal for candidates
  • 30th of June : Last date for entrys
  • September : Jury's deliberation
  • October :: Award ceremony
  • Winners

  • In 2000 and 1999, no prizes were awarded.
  • In 1998, the scientific prize was awarded to Martin Lamour and Marthe Barraco de Pinto for their work " Souffrances autour du berceau : des émotions au soin " (the suffering around the cradle : the emotions to care).
